Become a Participating Site

Welcome to CanReview! We’re inviting Canada’s high-quality research institutions to participate in a single research ethics review system for pan-Canadian, multi-site clinical trials. Becoming a participating site enables your researchers to submit studies through CanReview for a more efficient research ethics approval process. It also enables them to easily join studies and quickly add sites to their own clinical trials.

CanReview uses a distributed REB of Record model. Reviews are conducted on Stream, an online platform that enables all research sites participating in a multi-site trial to undergo a single ethics review.

CanReview welcomes Canadian institutions conducting research involving humans, including hospitals, universities, private clinics/practices and health networks.

Status as a CanReview participating site is a formal arrangement. The CanReview team is meeting with all interested CanReview participating sites to walk through the process and coordinate registration.
